The University of Arizona - Department of Neurology is evaluating an investigational medication, called E2080 (also known as Rufinamide) to help reduce seizure frequency.
This study will investigate whether E2080 will help people with partial-onset seizures who are already taking other seizure medications. The study doctor wants to research whether people who add E2080 to their regular antiepileptic drug regimens have fewer seizures than people who don’t add anything to their regular antiepileptic drug regimens.
None at present.
Qualified participants must be:
If you qualify for participation, all study-related medical care, physical exams, lab tests and investigational drug will be provided at no cost.

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial to evaluate a drug delivery system being studied for repetitive seizures. Adults and children (age 2 and up) with epilepsy may qualify. An adult caregiver is required for participation. Participants will receive study medication, study-related procedures and study visits at no cost. Caregivers will be trained on how to deliver the study medication.
