Vertigo and Ataxia Clinic

This is a monthly clinic held by Dr. Fife for patients with dizziness of unknown cause, vertigo, gait imbalance of unknown cause, nystagmus and gaze difficulty, and cerebellar ataxia. We use the canalith repositioning procedure to treat benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and have a 95% cure rate. The diagnosis is discussed with the patient and quantitative vestibular testing (electronystagmogram), audiometric testing, brain MRI, and posturography are available when necessary. We offer the patient a treatment plan so they may be followed in their local community by their primary care physician.

Appointments can be made by calling (520) 694-8888.
